About the position 💻
As a UX Designer at Kollmorgen you will have a key role in creating a world class experience for Kollmorgen’s partners and their customers. You will work in a cross-functional team working on a product that has not yet reached the market that includes software to set-up, install and use systems of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) at, for example, factories and warehouses. The installations are performed by end-customers with no previous knowledge of AMRs and it is key that they get a good experience of how to interact with this high-tech product, both when it comes to the User Interfaces and with the product as a whole.

You will be a part of our R&D Department together with around 60 other colleagues and you will work in a team with Software developers, a System Architect, and a Product Manager, that also has a lot of collaboration with end-customers to be able to build a usable product. Your opinion and experience you gain from user studies and user research will be vital for the team and the product.

In this role you will 💻:
Collaborate with a development team to build, iterate and release finished design.
Fluently synthesize data from research, usability tests and other inputs into concepts.
From concepts, design wire-frames, user journeys, and mock-ups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Clearly connect products to target users to help the development team create a usable product during the whole user journey.
Present & explain design and design-decisions to Product Manager, development team and other internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with the UX community to make sure that the established design standards are consistently and appropriately applied.

We are looking for you 💻

.. who is eager to learn new things even when it comes to complex products, good at communication and willing to share knowledge with others. You enjoy the agile way of working and are motivated by working towards goals.

To be successful and thrive in this role you must ✔️:
You have been working as a UX Designer for 2+ years.
You have expertise in core UX disciplines such as user research, concept development, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing.
You have experience of working directly with developers to ensure successful implementation of the design.
You are used to working with complex software products in an agile way; for example using Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
You are good at communicating and like to share knowledge with others.
We think that you have an academic degree in Product Design, Interaction Design or similar.

The following is nice to have but it is not required so do not hesitate to apply ➕:
Previous experience of working with responsive and adaptive design
Experience of front end development is a plus, as well as graphic design.
Previous experience from working with products that include both hardware and software, for instance within industrial automation or another high-tech business.

A major emphasis will be put on your personal characteristics.
