Project Manager with technical knowledge

We are searching for a Project Manager to Codemill where you are offered a challenging position with high responsibility for their different projects. Codemill sells and develops video apps for leading media companies and are now looking for new talents as they keep on expanding.

Codemill is a company that sells and develops cloud-based video apps for leading media companies. Their products help the customers to manage their quality control, marketing, editing automatic adjustments and AI services. In this position as a Project Manager, you will manage several of Codemills’ projects throughout the project lifecycle and you will also be a part of their Project Office where you will work closely with other project managers to improve and develop how projects are managed at Codemill. Your goals are high customer satisfactions, happy teams, and profitable project.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
In this position you will manage, plan and coordinate projects with cross-functional project teams including UX designers and software developers. Typically, the teams are working in sprints. You will work closely to the team where your technical skills and previous experiences from software development will come in hand. You will help the teams to stay engaged in their work using your leadership skills and strategies.

By meeting with customers throughout the project, you will make sure that the team is delivering what the customer wants. Many of Codemills customers are international, that often leads to meeting in inconvenient hours.

You will keep stakeholders up to speed on how the project is proceeding and you will also administer time tracking and invoicing on your projects. You will also cooperate with the sales department with e.g., sales cases that might lead to future projects.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for someone that previously has worked as a software developer and that has experiencing from managing software developments for a couple of years. We would also like to see a track record of your previous successful project management. We would also like to see that you:

Have strong technical skills that you continuously keep updated.

Have excellent communication in English, both verbally and in writing. This is essential to be able to communicate with international customers.

Are structured and results oriented.

It is meritorious if you have experience with JIRA, Confluence, Slack and Google Workspace.

Location: Codemill have there office in Umeå but for this position you can work from any part of Sweden.
