What you’ll do
We are now looking for you who likes the idea of being involved in developing new smart products for Sweden's entrepreneurs. With your knowledge and desire for continuous improvement, we take new steps towards our vision: To create a prosperous society shaped by successful companies.

Due to the fact that Fortnox today has hundreds of thousands of companies on our platform, we can, with help of insights from data and users, create many opportunities to build the financial products and services of the future, in one of Sweden’s most promising fintech companies.

As a Developer at Fortnox, you work with other Developers, Product Owners and Test Engineers who are passionate about developing innovative solutions. In the role, you are part of a smaller team that takes great responsibility for the design and usability of the solution where you have the opportunity to develop throughout the whole tech stack. Together with your team you take the development of your product area to the next level and have great freedom to adapt working methods and technologies to who you are and what you do.

We are working in an agile way and we believe in self-organizing teams. We work with modern technologies, everything from React in the frontend to RxJava in the backend. Our micro-service architecture is based on Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes.

Who you are
We would like you to have a couple of years of experience in development in Java, Javascript, TypeScript and maybe some other languages, but most importantly that you are passionate about programming and want to create real wow-feeling solutions for our users. If you are interested in and have tested functional programming and reactive extensions, you will like our development stack which is light weight and uses our own java framework.

In this role, you will be an invaluable part of our fantastic development team at Fortnox. We want you to be interested in developing working methods, like to share your knowledge and think that it sounds exciting to be involved and work towards our vision.
