Job Summary:

Do you want to be part of creating super fast product flows for Ericsson 5G products and future generations? To get the product to customer we need tools, services and interfaces that make it possible to build, test and release software products on a scale that very few other companies in the world can handle. In our team you get to improve the existing product flow tools and also be part of bringing them to a new level with cloud technologies, modern open source CICD tools. Sometimes we also need to create tools that do not exist yet.

The team that you are part of works with architecture, design, development, operation and support. This also includes driving environment/process improvements and optimize usability and stability of the environment, as well as handling day to day issues/tasks. The team aim is to automate as many as possible of the manual work tasks with analytics built in and to continue designing microservice systems, so experience and competence in automation and test is qualifying.

As a person you are open-minded and a good team player, but also work well independently. You are curious about our production product users and want to support them with your expertise.

You are highly technical and you are enthusiastic about creating something new. You share your ideas and use your own and other's experiences in order to succeed.

This will be achieved by enabling flow and transparency, enhance collaboration with aligned way of working as well as reducing cost through infrastructure sharing

Responsibilities:

  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
  • Develop and test high quality products
  • Perform trouble shooting and customer support
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
  • Develop competence in technical domain

Interest and skills in any of these areas:

  • Programming/scripting skills in e.g Java, Go, Python, Perl
  • Cloud Native Technologies and Microservice Architectures, Cloud Computing, and IT domains
  • Cloud Native principles e.g. Scalability, Automation, Continuous Integration and Deployment
  • Cloud/Virtualization/Datacenters (cloud technologies)
  • Some of the following areas related to development, integration, deployment, and orchestration technologies (such as Kubernetes, Docker, Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Ansible, Spinnaker, Helm)
  • Containers and Virtualization (Kubernetes, Docker, Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), VMware, Helm, Open Stack, etc.)
  • Innovating, adapting and responding to change
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Planning and Organizing
  • Cross functional team work, preferably in Agile/Scrum
  • Analytics/machine learning area
