2 CONSULTANTS FOR SAFE SYSTEM TEAM - Stockholm/Remote

Background

The company's lending business is developed in an agile release train using the agile scaling framework SAFe. The train, which has been running for 3.5 years, has about 100 people spread across 10 business development teams.

Many of our legacy systems were written in cobol on z/os. We began the transition from mainframe business development to building backend services in Java EE that will be deployed in open shift and, beginning in the summer of 2022, in Azure a year ago.

Description of the assignment

We are now forming a SAFe-based system team whose task it will be to lay the groundwork for the business development teams in terms of CI/CD against Open Shift and Azure. This includes a collection of delivery pipelines and environments, as well as test automation and new tools. Together with the architecture, the system team is also in charge of developing guidelines and design patterns.

We are looking for two people who will work as a system team with our Tech Lead.

Profile 1 is responsible for the development of our Delivery Pipeline and possesses expertise in security, integration, Java, Kubernetes, and container technology.

Profil 2 specialises in technical testing and getting our test automation up and running, and it works with tools such as Postman, JUnit, Mockito, Tekton, and ArgoCD.

With us, you'll be working with cutting-edge technologies and tools like REST-based microservices, Java EE MicroProfile, and container technology (Docker, Docker Compose, and others).

Competency prerequisites

At least 5 years of JAVA EE experience is required.

Experience with Kubernetes and deployment of cloud services, preferably in Azure

Experience designing and developing microservices and APIs

Test automation and technical testing experience

I was a member of an agile team.

In both speech and writing, you express yourself fluently in Swedish and English.

Duration: 6 months + extension
