What you will do
We are deep into open-source technologies and building the foundation for world-class SaaS using cloud-native open source technologies. You would, in this role, be part of our cross-functional, platform team, building reliable and scalable infrastructure, allowing service teams to move quickly while delivering a highly reliable platform to our partners and in the end to patients. The team works tightly together, and you will be part of giving input in your area of expertise on strategic decisions on the architecture and how to move the platform forward.
Our tech-stack:
- Kubernetes cluster and other tools within the CNCF ecosystem (Service-mesh, Prometheus, OpenTracing technologies, Docker)
- Clustered MariaDB database
- Artemis message queue
- CD/CI pipelines (Gitlab)
- Java/Go/Python applications
What we are looking for
- Experience in system administration on Linux environments, with an understanding of process isolation/ virtualization/ containerization concepts and the ability to apply them when necessary.
- Understanding of distributed system design
- Understanding of networking and security principles
- Understanding of, and hands-on experience with at least one public cloud
- Hands-on experience with service orchestration and management, service deployment, configuration management, and process automation with tools similar to packer, terraform, and ansible.
- A good understanding and hands-on experience with monitoring technologies such as Prometheus.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle(versioning, building, testing, staging, and deployment processes) with a strong CI/CD mindset
- Good documentation and communication skills
