The position
We are now looking for a driven technical support person. You will be part of the Digital Solutions department that develops digital products within the Roxtec Software Suite™ (https://www.roxtec.com/en/software-suite/). We develop products that consist of web applications and Android apps, but also products in the IoT area for our customers around the world. To date there are three products within the suite, Roxtec Transit Designer™, Roxtec Transit Build™ and Roxtec Transit Operate™.

Our department, Digital Solutions, is like a start-up inside Roxtec. Developing value-added services in the form of digital tools for our customer base and thereby bringing new revenue streams to the company is an unpaved road for Roxtec. It is an exciting journey to be travelling.

Within Digital Solutions, we are architecting and coding in an agile DevOps team that handles everything from UX/UI design and front-end and back-end development through to operations of our products for our customers. Within the team, we work a lot with infrastructure, integration, system analysis and test automation. We use the latest technologies and all our in-house developed products are based on and located in the Google Cloud Platform where we use technologies such as Kubernetes, Cloud Functions, CI/CD pipelines, Pub/Sub, compute, databases and Google products like Firebase and Google Analytics.

We also work with various R&D projects where we test technology such as AR, AI, ML and analytics, which we later incorporate into our products.

Qualifications
For this position, we want you to have a college or university degree in technology/data science/IT or similar relevant area, or what we consider as equivalent knowledge and experience. What we need is that you develop together with us, starting from the ground. You will handle support for our team as well as our customer base with a wide variety of tasks in an equally wide variety of applications. This position can develop in many ways, mostly depending on yourself and your interest and skills.

You should feel comfortable with some of the skills below:

• Handle installations of upgrades of our software Roxtec Transit Designer™ on Windows Server
• Administrate our global network of chat supporters in LiveChat
• Manage translations of our software using our network of translators
• Support users with issues and register users in Auth0 platform
• Know or learn how to work in tools such as GitHub and Jira
• Work in Google Analytics to drive knowledge on how our products are used and are performing
• Create useful reports in our PowerBI or Looker in cooperation with our data analytics team in IT
• It is a merit if you have worked with technologies such as K8S, CI/CD and micro services, preferably in Google Cloud Platform
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken
