We are looking for a curious and enthusiastic Golang Developer to join our team in developing innovation and best-in-class open-source edge analytics software.
Your future role
As a Golang Developer you will be part of working on our eKuiper open-source project, which was first initiated in 2019. You will work with developing the software and make sure we implement new enhancements to make sure we optimize the software. You will be responsible of colleting requirements and feedback from the community and cascade the requirements and feedback to the tech and R&D team. The eKuiper project has extensive collaborations with other open-source projects which means that you will participate in regular meetings for other projects. Additionally, you will engage in online events and technical forums to network and promote eKuiper. Your day will consist of helping users with different problems and answer questions.
- Developing and enhancing the software to make sure we develop the best open-source edge analytics software.
- Project documentation, such as tutorials and guides etc
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers and solutions architect to develop valuable solutions for our customers
- Fix bugs
- Participate on other relevant open-source projects
Who you are
To succeed in this role, we believe you are a true problem solver with excellent programming skills. You want to work with open-source projects and be part of developing IoT data analytics/streaming software. You thrive to work in a global environment with different stakeholders, both internally and externally, thus you have excellent communications skills. Furthermore, you
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Golang or 5 years’ experience in Java
- Solid knowledge of data structure and algorithms
- Experience in Go/Java program optimization (CPU & memory profiling)
- Know-how in middleware development or streaming analytics systems is preferred
- Experience with high throughput system programming is preferred
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
