Full Stack Engineer

To be successful you will need a strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles of design; and will have a good grasp of design patterns. Developing will be your passion and you will be constantly looking to learn & expand your experience.

You will work closely with a variety of fellow experts including Designers, Senior Developers, Automation Testers and Product Owners to develop and improve online applications for multiple desktop, mobile and tablet platforms.

Within the Dashboard team the work is based around developing a Sports Book CMS and Back Office application. We work within a Scrum and Agile environment and use Continuous Integration, Unit Testing, and Clean Code best practices. The role will appeal to someone who is a team player and technically talented throughout the stack. If you have exceptional problem-solving skills, naturally talented and thrives in an atmosphere where you can share knowledge and adapt to any given scenario then please read on for the key technical skills that we are looking for.

Key skills:

• Solid software development experience, with C# preferably

• Good understanding and experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/Typescript

• Solid understanding of OOP and Solid principles

• Competent using SASS

• Skilled with build and deployment tools: MSBuild, TeamCity, Octopus deploy

• Good understanding of RESTful APIs

• Good knowledge of the Web platform (protocols, browsers, web performance, security)

• Debugging skills with Chrome Developer Tools (or similar)

• Familiar with testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma

• Skilled with tools like NPM, Yarn, Webpack

• Good understanding of responsive design

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum. Kanban environment. (Jira, Portfolio, confluence)

• Experience with source control systems e.g Git

Nice to have:

• Experience with monorepos

• Experience with Microsoft Azure

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture

• Experience with at least one JavaScript framework such as Angular or React.

• Experience coaching and mentoring other members of the team
