As we continue our quest to democratize financial services, our Platforms Alliance is on the lookout for a passionate engineer to join our Platform Services Team. In this role, you will get the opportunity to co-tackle a wide variety of challenges together with a group of talented people driven by a shared ambition to create hassle-free solutions enabling our internal customers i.e feature teams.
A glimpse of what you will get here
Simply stated, our day-to-day mission essentially consists in providing the best platform experience for our feature teams. As a member of Platform Services, you will be jointly responsible for the daily's operations of our infrastructure systems and everything “platform” that allow millions of transactions to flow through our system every day.
As a member of the wider platform area you would be able to make a difference in a more general direction around shared DevOps domains between the platform teams such as infrastructure and monitoring and collaborate on POC work and larger projects.
The skills & experience to succeed
While we will be here to support you, we think that the following skills and know-how would help you to be successful:
- Strong understanding of AWS.
- Be able to write clean code in a language or two to create tooling (Python, Golang or Java).
- A passion to automate away repetitive tasks and increase efficiency.
- Experience with Docker.
- Extolls the behaviors and understanding associated with "DevOps" and "SRE".
- Understands the developer perspective of platforms/systems.
- Great collaboration skills.
