Devops Engineer

Imint is a Swedish software enterprise in intelligent sensor and data analysis, founded in 2007 and originated as a spin-off from academic research at the Uppsala University. We have our background within the demanding defense market where our main objective was to create innovations for aerial reconnaissance. Something that we achieved with flying colors when we later expanded to UAV applications, drones and solutions for air traffic control. We are now expanding rapidly within the consumer mobile segment. Imint’s Vidhance is fit to run on a smartphone OS, as part of an app, or as a cloud service. In the fast-growing market for mobile video, Vidhance promises to radically change the way video is being used, from composition, capture and curation. Our products, including Video stabilization and Noise reduction, have been integrated in 200+ million smartphones on the market with brands such as Huawei, Xiaomi and Motorola.

We are located in the central part of Uppsala, within a short walking distance to the central station, lunch restaurants, gym and other facilities.

Imint is now looking to recruit an engineer to be part of the Internal Platform team. The Devops engineer has the primary responsibility to develop and maintain the tools and systems required to maximize the efficiency and quality of the entire software development cycle, from code to delivery.

The role includes both software development and tools management. You are part of a team where you work together to reach common goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Good English skills

Experience in:

• Linux
• Version control (Git or equivalent)
• Code hosting (Github or equivalent)
• Scripting languages (Python or equivalent)

Meriting Requirements

Experience in:

• Continuous Integration (Jenkins/Hudson/TeamCity/Travis/CircleCI or equivalent)
• Containers (Docker or equivalent)
• Build tools (For example CMake, clang, gcc)
• Deployment and provisioning tools (Ansible/Juju/Puppet/Salt or equivalent)
• Android (app or system development)
• Distributed systems / cloud computing
