Job Description

AFRY Group IT is now looking for a back-end developer to our Team Finance, Procurement & Legal. The team works mainly within Finance process area applications and integrations with our ERP systems.

As a back-end developer at Group IT, you get to work with both maintenance, new development and integration. Our ways of working is team-based, and you will work in close collaboration with your multi-national team consisting of different competencies such as business analysis, solution architecture and testing as well as other developers.

You work in a Microsoft environment in Visual Studio within C# and .NET. Our back-end is built in a microservices architecture We have a well formulated architecture that is based exclusively on various Azure components and is designed for scalability and flexibility.

Qualifications

Naturally, you have an interest and passion for software development! In addition, we would like to see that you have a relevant post-secondary education (in computer science, computer technology, system development or similar).

You have had time to gain some or a few years of relevant work experience after graduation. Previous experience of agile development methods is an advantage.

As a person, we see that you can work both independently and in a team. You thrive when you get a lot of personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence. You have an ability to see both details and a holistic perspective in the solutions that you and your team work on and you are comfortable in expressing and motivating your own ideas and suggestions. You also have a genuine interest in problem solving and solve problems in an independent way.

Moreover, we expect you to be passionate about architecture, structure and above all performance.

Must have competences:

· Higher education in computer science

· At least 5 years of experience working as a .Net developer

· Excellent programming skills in Microsoft .Net Core, C#

· Experience in integrations (rest API technologies)

· Work experience in Entity Framework

· Fluent in English with good communication skills
