Description of the project

In Stockholm, our client is looking for a UX Designer to join their API technology team. Do you want to be a part of a team that is investigating how APIs are disrupting the financial industry? Concerning the assignment

We are seeking a UX Designer to join their Open Banking team. The mission is to help the company grow within the financial ecosystem by specialising in API solutions and secure integrations with third-party partners. They are involved in a number of strategic initiatives aimed at developing new products, from the ideation stage to the implementation and maintenance phases.

In this position, you will be a member of an agile team that is in charge of their API platform and Developer portal application. Both external and internal users can access the Developer portal. Externally, the developer portal serves as their API marketplace, attracting developers and possibly business developers from all over the world.

As a UI/UX Designer at the company, you will work hands-on in development sprints as part of an agile team. You will collaborate closely with product owners, analytics, and technology. You will be responsible for designing user interfaces for both end users and customer-facing roles that are simple to use and provide the user with a sense of ease, control, and security. You must be able to empathise with a variety of different user types and roles while keeping all of their needs in mind.

You will be a member of the company's Customer Experience Design community, which includes over 50 designers. They have a high level of skill and competence in the field of user experience, and their work is highly valued in the bank's digitization journey.

We anticipate the following qualities in the candidate:

4–8 years of relevant experience

You have the ability to self-direct and communicate, and you thrive in positions of power.

You enjoy passing on your expertise, methods, and tools.

You will be working with interaction design and concept design for desktop and mobile, as well as user research in the form of interviews and user testing. Strong visual skills are preferred.

We anticipate that you will have post-secondary education in the field as well as experience working agile with UX for web, mobile, and app development.

You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Working experience in banking or a related field is advantageous.

Duration: 6 months + extension

Location: Stockholm / Remote
