Senior Qt UX Developer

We are looking for passionate software engineers with excellent Qt/C++, and object-oriented programming skills that enjoy embedded Linux development. You will help our customers with their infotainment development projects that are based on Qt and Pelagicore's products. It is an advantage if you already experienced working in the automotive industry.

You will work with the design, implement, enhance, and integrate software that is built with and around Qt; directly work with customers on stunning automotive user experiences; engage in open source projects and automotive alliances (e.g. GENIVI, AGL); scope and estimate software development work.

This role is part of Pelagicore's Qt teams in Gothenburg, Sweden and Munich, Germany.

As a software engineer in our team you should have a positive attitude, be independent, have good leadership skills, be unpretentious and find it easy to create good relationships with your co-workers and our clients. You prefer to work in a structured way following agile development principles. You enjoy working in Open Source projects.

Desired skills & experience To be successful in this position you'll be a talented and experienced Qt and C++ software engineer who has proven ability to come up with unique and clever solutions to problems.

Excellent coding skills in Qt/C++; QML/JavaScript expertise is a plus
Customer and results orientation
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
Prior experience from open source development is a plus
Good understanding of agile development principles
Flexibility to travel up to 25% of your time
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
