Please note - we do not expect you to have prior experience in online gaming. We will train you on the job, as long as you have the right type of personality and have a hunger to learn. We are open to junior candidates if you are willing to work hard to learn.
Hacksaw Studios is a company that builds online gambling games (slots). We supply our games to some of the largest online gaming websites from around the world where they are being played by millions of people from around the world.
We work in a heavily regulated industry and pride ourselves on our high level of technical compliance. Our games are strictly regulated and have to be compliant with the requirements of various gaming authorities from around the world. We are currently looking to expand our technical compliance team with an additional member.
We offer a nice office in central Stockholm, an opportunity to work with other experienced game designers as well as a co-ownership program for suitable candidates.
Your tasks will include:
- Learning as much as possible about the regulations of the online gambling industry in all markets where our games are used
- Supporting the team in analyzing the requirements of new markets
- Ensuring that our games are compliant with the regulations of all our target markets
- Be in contact with third party testing houses to ensure that our games are successfully tested in a timely fashion
- Establishing and maintaining documentation covering our various technical solutions
- Co-operate with colleagues with similar roles, both in-house and with our partners
Required skills and experience:
- University degree in law, business, finance or a technical field
- An ability to read regulations issues by various authorities and extract what is important
- An ability to condense written material into actionable bullet points
- Very good English, both speaking and writing
- The more technical ability you have, the better. Coding is not required, but interest in the tech sector is a big benefit
Other things that would be a bonus (but not required):
- Swedish preferable but not a requirement
- It would be a benefit if you are used to reading and writing technical documentation
