Project Solution Architect- Stockholm/Remote

Description of the assignment

Finance at Klarna is undergoing a truly transformational journey, with financial processes being integrated into a single high-performance infrastructure, allowing for deep insights and flexible reporting.

As the Solutions Architect on this project, you will be the technical lead, in charge of overall architecture, including estimates, technical design, product decisions, infrastructure design, sizing, non-functional requirements (security, auditability, archiving, maintainability, support, resilience, and availability), requirements capture, and technical project management. It is necessary to have excellent communication and documentation skills. This project has many stakeholders, including top management; you are responsible for presenting the solution to stakeholders in order to gain their confidence and buy-in. You must also act as the 'business value conscience,' ensuring that regardless of what functional designs are created, what is delivered must be 'business valuable,' not just an application.

Skill Set Required

- Relevant education, such as a bachelor's degree in engineering or comparable skills

- Previous experience as a Solution Architect or in a comparable position

- Capability to drive architecture and design decisions, as well as develop conceptual data models - Knowledge of SQL, databases, and some or all of the following technologies: Spark, Hadoop, AWS EMR, AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, Postgres, Python, Scala

- Working knowledge of English, as well as verbal and written communication skills

- A keen interest in data, fast data, big data, data governance, data models, data warehouses, data insights - or all of the above!

- Proven ability to lead engineering teams

- Proven ability to collaborate closely with business leaders, as well as knowledge of domains outside of engineering

- Worked in a variety of organizations, ranging from startups to large enterprise businesses.

Working knowledge of finance or financial accounting data

Extensive knowledge of SAP-based applications and SAP HANA databases is required.

Working knowledge of Kafka is required.

Extensive knowledge of regulated industries

Experiential learning about cloud computing
