Senior Frontend Developer

YOU WILL

As a Senior Frontend Developer for Axel Arigato, you will be given a unique opportunity to shape and drive the development of our E-commerce website. You will manage multiple Frontend Development tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines with accuracy and provide consistent execution follow-up.

You will work closely with the E-commerce team and with your combined interest for e-commerce and software/web development you’ll be part of creating and developing the future of e-commerce for Axel Arigato.

At Axel Arigato we are passionate about staying updated to latest news and love to share new product drops with our costumers online every week. Short development projects with high speed will be part of your weekly tasks – we believe you know how to handle it.

To be able to enrich our customers experience we use headless Ecom with a best of bread SAAS components that you need to embrace and deliver solutions that accelerate our business with high customer satisfaction rates. We use a CMS from Storyblock, search from Findify and Vercel in the webfront.

YOU ARE

This position requires a demonstrated ability to act autonomously with ability to see the whole picture as well as being able to focus into the details when needed.

We are looking for someone with a creative mind and genuine interest in e-commerce and the customer journey online.

The ideal candidate is responsible, analytical and have good problem-solving skills. You like an entrepreneurial, fast speed environment and have an open and flexible mindset. You are used to working in a team and are dedicated to test automation, code review and other quality-oriented practices.

As a person we believe that you are a social, flexible, communicative, and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. We believe you have an interest in SEO principles and experience from UX Designer, UI Design or similar is an advantage.

Qualifications required to be successful in this position are:

- Several years of experience as a Frontend Developer, tech lead or a similar role
- Good knowledge and experience in JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience in creating responsive web-design with HTML and CSS
- Experience in working with React and Redux frameworks
- Good knowledge of distributed version control system like Git (GitHub/GitLab)
- Experience in working with the Next.js framework
- Experience in working with an e-commerce website
