What’s in it for you?
This role is within our Customer Care Digital team, which is using a number digital technologies to provide best tools and solutions so that Volvo Cars can provide proactive and effortless customer care for Volvo users.  We want to provide our global customers with a leading and effortless customer care experience and be there when they need us, across the channels our consumers prefer. That’s our mission.
You will be responsible for developing global products for Customer Care, that can be rolled out to different markets. We are using Salesforce Service Cloud as a foundation for customer care products. In the future, we plan to build products possibly using other platforms and development tools. Your responsibilities will include translating business requirements to technical solutions, utilizing capabilities of the Salesforce platform but not limited to it. You will be working closely with a team of engineers and product owners on regular product development.
The team is primarily located in Gothenburg, Stockholm Sweden, and we also have teams in the San Francisco US and in Shanghai China. Many of the people you will be working with have experience from start-ups and global tech companies such as Spotify, Google, Ericsson, Microsoft, Tradera, Klarna, EA Games etc.

Together with the other digital leaders within Global Online Experience, you will
Grow and reshape teams with highly talented engineers.
Mentor and coach individual engineers and teams as well as removing obstacles in their way to deliver software at scale and speed.
Drive and nurture collaboration, diversity, and engagement.
Lead and develop technology strategy in your domain and together with the product manager make sure the architecture and strategy enable the product vision. Overall responsible for quality of technical design and development.
Advocate and advance a modern software development, operation, and engineering practices and apply them on the Salesforce platform.
Drive good data management practices on the Salesforce platform
Always find ways to learn and continuously improve our products and practices.
Individually contribute to developing our solutions both on Salesforce and possibly other platforms. 

You and your skills
We are looking for a Sw Eng Manager with:
At least 2 years’ experience as Software Manager.
 5 years’ experience as Software Engineer.
Experience working with one of the following programming languages: C#, Python, Java or .NET
Proficient English.
Location: Stockholm or Gothenburg, Sweden.
Nice to have:
Exposure building teams, hiring, reviewing compensation and employee career development.
Working with Salesforce platform.
Agile methodologies.
