Our new APSIS One platform is built from the ground up using brand new cloud-native technology and methods.

APSIS aims to work at the forefront of technology and development. We follow modern agile practices with cross-functional DevOps teams. Each team assumes complete technical and operational ownership of their components. This not only includes implementation but also full architectural design, tech stack selection, testing, continuous delivery and ensuring high availability for the production environments. We believe in small, highly skilled, highly empowered and autonomous teams taking maximal ownership of their systems using the three ways of DevOps: flow, feedback and continuous learning.

On a typical day this role means working, and close collaboration with the QA team members and developer teams in Stockholm, Malmö, Warsaw and Rostov, and also with the Product Owners and other stakeholders.

Responsibility

As a QA Lead at Apsis, you are involved in and contribute to the high-quality delivery of Apsis One. You do this by defining strategies, processes and quality metrics, and have a key role when it comes to improving how we work with manual and automated testing. You will also take part in hands-on testing activities when needed (manual and automated).

We work in cross functional teams where the developers participate in the QA work, and your role will be to guide, help and support them together with the rest of the QA team. We strive to automate our testing when it’s relevant, but we also do manual testing such as exploratory and risk-based testing when needed.

Requirements

- You are a senior tester who wants to take the next step, or a QA lead with high focus on quality assurance and a passion for software verification

- You have experience of defining QA strategies and processes, and driving them to full implementation
- You have experience of driving transformation initiatives and supporting complex projects
- You have experience of defining quality metrics
- You have been testing web-based tools and applications
- You have solid knowledge of automation testing principles, and have worked with test automation 3+ years
- You are curious, thorough, structured, analytical, and driven
- You have a strong sense of responsibility, enjoy taking ownership and take pride in always delivering high quality
- Fluent oral and written English is a must

Bonus points for

- You have experience of automating tests with Cypress
- You have knowledge or experience of CI/CD
- You have worked with applications hosted in AWS or have AWS certifications
- You have experience in agile methodologies, e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean etc
- You have experience of testing applications with a microservice architecture

Technologies

Our dev teams use NodeJS/TypeScript, Angular, Java, .NET Core, /C# and Golang, and we primarily use AWS for hosting. QA tools include, but are not limited to Microsoft TFS/Test Manager, Ghost Inspector, Cypress and Postman.
