Your future team
We are a team with mixed and broad experiences and competences. What we have in common is our passion for product development and the love of technical challenges.
We develop Linux based software for Axis Audio products including a variety of network speakers, amplifiers, and other connected devices.
We work with technologies such as sound processing, audio quality, software for configuration and set up of speaker systems, software for scheduling of audio streams, content management, among other things.
Our code is mainly written in C but we also use other language such as Rust and Python. We also work with open-source components and standards such as GStreamer, RTP and MQTT.
What will you do here
You will work together with your team to maintain and develop parts of the FW that is delivered in our Audio system. The team's responsibility is to design, implement and make sure the code holds good quality. The daily work contains a mix of architectural improvements, implementation of new features based on customer requests and bug fixing.
We also value learning and innovation so you will dedicate 10% of your working hours on such initiatives and activities.

We would love to hear that you have
Working knowledge of C and Embedded Linux.
It would also be good but not mandatory to have
Knowledge about:
Rest APIs
Agile development methodologies
UNIX shell
GStreamer, ALSA and audio codecs
Experience in Git, Yocto/BitBake and Jira
Understanding of network programming and related protocols such as MQTT, TCP/IP, RTP, HTTP and WebSocket.
