Head of UX

We are on an exciting growth journey and are now looking for a Head of UX that will lead, support and develop our User Experience team to reach both short- and long term goals!

Main responsibilities

As a Head of UX, your main responsibility will be to set the strategic direction for our UX function, consisting of 5 ambitious interaction designers and user researchers that love having fun at work. The team are responsible to ensure a great journey and experience for our users while using our platform, both for the app and web, as well as identifying strategic improvement for Benify’s platform vision. Due to a continuously changing consumer preference, you will constantly modify and communicate the vision in order to deliver the next paradigm in customer experience to always keep the business’s product relevant and engaging.

In this role, you will develop the competence, ways of working and create a foundation where employees can thrive, grow and have the support needed to succeed with efficient delivery within the area. Additionally, you will be a part of our R&D management team consisting of UX, Product Management and Engineering where you will set the strategy, vision and roadmap for the product development to achieve our company goal.

In the position as a Head of UX, you will for instance:

• Be responsible for the vision, ways of working and strategic improvements for the UX function
• Making sure to keep the business’s product relevant and engaging to the consumers
• Continuous performance management, wage-setting and annual salary review
• Develop the team, which includes recruiting, hiring and training of new team members- to ensure a winning team through meaningful performance and talent development

This is what we are looking for

You are an analytical and driven person with a passion for great UX design who also enjoys a fast paced working environment. As a leader you are a great cultural role model and can create an environment that is positive and inspiring, with an interest in developing, listening and coaching the people in your team. You have an ability to drive a team through complex projects in large business settings and disciplines with a mindset to always improve ways of working. Additionally, you have strong communication skills and can clearly get a message across both with employees and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, we also see that you have:

• Relevant educational background within UX, Marketing, Design or similar
• A few years’ experience from a leading position within information architecture, user experience, interaction design or similar
• Hands on experience working either as a Visual designer, Interaction Designer or UX Researcher in a product industry. Preferably from B2B
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Swedish is a plus
