Job description
Configura is in an exciting growth phase where Cloud Services will play a central part. Our ambition is to develop new cloud-based products and to do so we need a new cloud-based application platform. We aim to create a new scalable cloud native infrastructure with a tightly integrated web application framework.

We are creating a new cloud native platform for Configura to build our next-generation cloud-based products on. We have a clear development process and structured development methodology where it´s the project team that owns the project and makes the important decisions.

You will be one of the members of the Architects group that drives?Configura’s?technical product development.? ? ?

You will build strong relationships?across the company?and?understand multiple points of view and drive a process to conclusions in a timely and respectful manner. You create a supportive, cooperative fearless atmosphere where every team member can achieve?their?maximum potential and continuously grow?their?skill set.?

Your profile
You will be the talented Principal Developer?with extensive?experience and?overall knowledge of the system. We believe you will excel at design and programming at all levels and specifically at user empathy, user-interface design, naming and conventions, program structure, performance, general quality and long-term consequences.?

As a software architect, you could lay out a path across many versions guided by long-term strategic goals?and?participate in and support initiatives outside?the?main?area of responsibility.?

To be successful as a Software Architect, you should be a communicative and mature person who takes pride in your work and is driven to deliver with quality.

We believe you are someone who:

- Cares about performance/stability/scalability.
- Has experience working with scalable cloud services and/or distributed systems with high performance.
- Is communicative and have strong collaboration skill and can lead other developers to success.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

- Bachelor degree and above in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Document databases, preferably DynamoDB.
- Distributed systems / eventual consistency.
- Cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- "Infrastructure as Code" tools, preferably Pulumi.
- Typed programming languages, preferably Rust.
- Modern JS frameworks, ex. React/Next.js
- Core web technologies, ex. HTML, CSS

We see our offices as hybrid offices where we combine office-based work with work remotely. The work takes place depending on the needs that prevail for the day, sometimes it is best to work from home and sometimes at the office.
