Color and Material Designer, Automotive Industry

We want to expand our consultant team with a Color and Material Designer for our clients in the automotive industry.

We are now looking for a Color & Material Designer with experience from the automotive sector, who is comfortable in contributing in different creative phases. From early conceptualizing and communicating of design ideas - up to developing for production.

Required qualifications:

• Designer Color & Material Design 4-8 years’ work experience in this field
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Transportation Interior Design, Product Design

Key competencies:

• Microsoft Office Package,
• PowerPoint
• Autodesk - VRED
• Adobe Package (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Strong presentation skills

Language:

• English

In this role:

• You are confident in performing and creating the Color & Material Designs for specific programs in the creative phases. From early conceptualizing and communicating design ideas until developing for production.
• You feel comfortable working closely, and supporting, the VP of Color & Material Design in strategic design, projects, and design for sustainable solutions.
• You are well updated and up to speed within market/trends/competitors and feel comfortable sharing your findings with the rest of the team. You like to motivate and inspire your colleagues to innovate and create the best-looking color & material choices and collections.
• You are comfortable presenting and communicating Color & Material Design within Design and the Product Creation
• In your profession, you strive for the best-looking color & material choices and collections for our customers of tasteful presentations

Location

We are looking for local applicants (Gothenburg/Sweden) or applicants that can relocate. Remote work from other countries will not be possible, you need to be able to work in the design studio if requested.
