We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join the Solution Architecture Team - the SA team consists of architects working with development teams across the whole Nasdaq global organization! This role is hands-on and requires contributing to development projects and products across multiple time zones.

Your role and responsibilities:

Development with a focus on Java and C++

Work alongside development and product teams

Review system requirements, design, and technical solutions

Collaborate in the creation of applications that deploy in public/private cloud and on-premises

Employ best practices to ensure high availability and performance

Promote and socialize commonalities across the organization

Work with GCP, AWS, Azure cloud architects

Evolve the Nasdaq PDLC

We expect you to have:

Solid experience in software design and development, taking the product(s) into production

Experience supporting production systems

A combination of experience working with Java, C++, and scripting languages

Keen curiosity about technical solutions, independent thinking, and experience with modern software development methodologies

Ability to listen, have a collaborative work style but brave when expressing observations and potential solutions

The initiative, adaptability with a willingness to learn and take on challenges

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

It would be nice if you also have:

Development experience with Trading/Clearing Platforms or surrounding systems

Network programming with TCP and UDP

Programming using cryptography with toolkits such as OpenSSL

Deployed apps to GCP, AWS, or Azure

Experience with building pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with SQL and relational databases
