Cloud Developer

The Engineers work in Agile teams and secures a stable environment and optimizes the solutions to the agreed service levels in a cost efficient and timely manner.

In this role your expertise and technology background is important and we like you to be able to take own responsibility and initiative to present solutions and ideas for complex problems. It requires that you can do substantial analysis by developing existing procedures, techniques and methods to impel improvement and change. This group work with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.

Qualifications

- Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (ICT) or what we consider equivalent
- Deep and broad knowledge and experience across IT service portfolio.
- Competence to operate and support costumer within the telecom industry
- Fluent in English
- ITIL and service knowledge

Experience

- 4 years experience or more in Linux administration and optimization
- 2 years experience or more with Openstack and optimization
- Experience/knowledge with container environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other comparable scripting language
- Experience in Cloud technology: Openshift, Openstack and Cloud Execution environment
- Hands-on experience in Networking (TCP/UDP, ICMP, and DNS, etc.), OSI Layers, infrastructure services, and security
- Proficiency in Linux administration (CentOS or RHEL a plus)

Responsibilities

- Operate and Support scalable, redundant infrastructure to include physical and virtualized environments

- Hands on experience with HW (e.g. physical installations, HW and SW upgrades etc.)

- Maintain and develop automation using tools like Python and Ansible

- Improve existing infrastructure to incorporate latest technology best practices and cross application integrations

- Day-to-day collaboration with developers and QA teams, to influence design, and architect solutions in multitiered environments

- Manage individual project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines

- Produce clear documentation for delivered solutions

- Assist in designing and rolling out a revamped monitoring and alerting system using openstack monitory tools
