Senior Business Data Analyst

We are currently looking for a Business Data Analyst with an outgoing personality to join B2B Analytics!

We work with data and business insights towards our enterprise customers, with a goal to fulfill the analytical needs of the whole B2B (Business-to-Business) organization in Telia Sweden, and we are in search of someone who will work in the interface between analytics and our stakeholders. Our purpose at Telia is to reinvent better connected living and you will play an important part in moving B2B in that direction. The Business and Customer Insights department is a world class team of market researchers, service designers, data scientists and business data analysts, trying to answer why-, because of-, how much-, and what if- questions for Telia Sweden. We all have experience in different industries and sectors and our belief is that by mixing different backgrounds we will increase the quality of insights. And it will also be more fun!

Is this your next opportunity?

In this role you will work as business partner towards our stakeholders, delivering value and insights by retrieving data and drawing conclusions from data, using descriptive and diagnostic techniques. You understand what your stakeholders need, and translate that into business demands and requirements, acting as a bridge towards our Data Availability and BI-team. This means you will work and collaborate with different competencies such as data engineers, data scientists, BI developers, business managers, market researchers, technical product specialists and business controllers – and it will require good people management and communication skills.

You will report to the head of B2B Analytics, but every individual in the team contributes and decide together on how to best address the challenges the team is facing. Team composition may change over time as we grow our competencies and adapt to new circumstances. You can call it agile but we think of it as fun, people-positive and complexity-conscious way of working. You will join a great team and work in a highly collaborative environment: A great place to grow and learn in! The position is placed in our head office in Solna, Stockholm.

Your Experience:

• Experience in working as Business Data Analyst or similar analytics role
• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze and put numbers into insights
• Strong communication skills with ability to customize messages to reach different competences
• Ability to work with large amounts of complex data
• Skills in SQL
• Skills in SAS, Qlik and Python is a plus
