Interior Designer, Automotive Industry

We want to expand our consultant team with an Interior Designer for our clients in the automotive industry.

We are now looking for an Interior Designer with experience from the automotive sector, who is a strong designer with in-depth knowledge of the design process - from sketch to reality.

Required qualifications:

• Interior Designer Design 4-8 years’ work experience in this field
• Postgraduate education in Art or Media

Key competencies:

• 2D graphics - Adobe Photoshop
• Design / Visualization - Autodesk Alias/VRED
• Microsoft Office Package

Language:

• English

In this role:

• You are confident in performing design tasks of highest quality to support automotive projects.
• You understand the importance of collaborating cross functional with all team disciplines.
• You will support program timing by delivering high quality design proposals with speed and efficiency.
• Your understanding of 2D / 3D sketching and modeling is of essences when working closely together with studio engineering and Support Digital modelers with clear visual and verbal direction in the creation of digital models, physical models and CG renderings
• You are well updated and up to speed within market/trends/competitors and feel comfortable sharing your findings with the rest of the team. You like to motivate and inspire your colleagues to innovate and create the best-looking color & material choices and collections.
• You are comfortable presenting and communicating your designs in multiple media including Photoshop, PPT, VRED etc.

Location

We are looking for local applicants (Gothenburg/Sweden) or applicants that can relocate. Remote work from other countries will not be possible, you need to be able to work in the design studio if requested.
