Tetra Pak Global Information Management (Global IM) supports the Tetra Pak Group with all aspects of Information Management. We set the information management strategy and standards and work together with Tetra Pak’s Global Process Owners to automate our business processes making sure we run projects & services that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers. Global IM has approx. 750 employees in four main sites: Chakan in India, Lund in Sweden, Denton in the USA and in Singapore. We are now looking a for a junior developer to strengthen our eBusienss development team. The eBusiness team in Global IM supports and develops Tetra Pak’s e-Commerce platform for packaging material, spare parts and services.
What you will do
As a developer in the eBusiness area you will work in an agile team with high ambitions and drive. You will work together with experienced developers and designers to ensure that the design and developments are done according to best practice and follows the customer’s needs.
- Design and develop new functionality to be implemented in the system following requirements.
- Refine and manage requirements with our internal stakeholders
- Constantly explore new possibilities within the subject area and closely follow new technology
This position is located in Lund.
Who you are
We believe that you are a person with lots of energy and a drive to develop and improve solutions. You have a strong interest in technical matters and can understand business needs and requirements and translate those into functionality and technical solutions. You can communicate with both technical and non-technical people and explain technical details in a clear and straightforward way. You enjoy problem solving and can engage others with your ideas. You have a positive attitude towards learning; increasing your knowledge motivates you and you want to apply new learning and insights into technical solutions.
- Experience of Object Oriented Development
- A desire to mix front and back-end development
- A desire to work with and learn new technologies, such as Java, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Sprint Framework, MySQL, Git
- Preferably knowledge and experience within eCommerce development
- Fluency in English, both verbally and written
