Great! Volvo Group IT is now searching for an experienced SW Engineer, within the Embedded SW domain.

Volvo is driving several exciting transformation projects and initiatives to digitalize our business processes and leverage the value of data and become a fully data-driven company and where embedded services will play a more central and important part of the Business going forward.

In the SW Configurator delivery team, our existing IT solutions are all based on C# technologies like .net, .net Core backend technologies and different JavaScript technologies. We have just started a transformation towards a microservice-based delivery and organization, with heavy investments to transform and modernize our overall IT architecture.

We are supporting the Volvo Group’s Digital ambitions, in which we in the SW Configurator team have a central role in the documentation and the release process.

We support the Engineering departments with SW capabilities and being an enabler for the internal embedded software (ESW) development.

Our services also support the Production and Aftermarket within the Volvo Group, by providing the “right” SW for the right purposes.

Role Description Your Mission:

So who are you?

You consider SW-development more to be a lifestyle rather than a Job.

It would be great, if you are a skilled Backend-developer in C# / .net Core and with some experience also in any modern JavaScript

We think you are familiar about working in a Azure DevSecOps pipeline, or perhaps you can even teach us in things like that!

You are highly interested in finding solutions to complex Backend challenges.

You have a customer-focused mindset and do Innovation exploration by testing and learning.

You’re a team-player, enjoy working in an Agile team, building features and resolving any obstacles together as a team.
