Software Architect - Join us in revolutionizing healthcare!

With the digitalization of healthcare, there is a large increase in the demand for self-tests that can be conducted anywhere and at anytime. Being located at the leading edge of developing high-quality diagnostic self-tests, we at FindOut Diagnostic want to meet this demand. With a drop of blood, an immunoassay lateral flow test, and the App, individuals can get access to more health data than ever before.

We are getting closer to launching our first self-test and therefore searching for a Software Architect with the aim of being responsible for the forthcoming development!

What will you do?

Initially, you will focus on reading into the product as well as securing knowledge on the current tech-stack. This will include briefing with the current development team as the transition from outsourced to in-house development takes place. Our stack includes languages and frameworks such as Kubernetes, TypeScript, Node.Js, Docker, PostgreSQL, REST Api and React native.

As our Software Architect, you will take full ownership of the backend development of our products and shape the architecture of our app and the integration of our AI algorithm into the product. You will be supported by a Software Manager, a couple of front-end developers, a fullstack developer, a regulatory specialist and two AI scientists. Managing the backend hosting at SafeSpring and Google Cloud will also be a key part of the role.

Since we are moving from MVP to our first product coming out onto the market, our product and techstack will need to evolve and mature. As our architect you will therefore have great freedom when it comes to technologies, tools and architecture as you will be able to choose what you think is best for the product, the team and the company!

The development of the product is complying with current medical regulations and will require documentation during the design- and development phases. A great learning place for medical device development!

We think that you have:

- 5-8 years of experience within Backend Development

- Excellent knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, TypeScript, Node.Js and PostgreSQL

- Expertise in REST-APIs and integrations

- Some experience within Frontend Development

We would also love to see experience in:

- Microservice architecture

- CI/CD processes and pipelines

- Medical applications and regulatory requirements

- Cloud Services such as GCP, Azure or AWS
