Software Architect within E-health

The position

This is a unique opportunity to work on a pure greenfield, next generation of Cambio’s e-health platform. You will have the opportunity to influence the direction and drive change using the very cutting edge in technology. In this position as a Software architect, you will be entering an early stage of the development process and work with complex information systems designed for innovation and interoperability. We work with information systems that have very high requirements to scale which means you will fundamentally change how open platforms of the future will play a role in healthcare and welfare improvement.

You will be developing reactive microservices for the foundation of our greenfield open platform, based on open standards such as FHIR and Open EHR that is deployed on Red Hat OpenShift, enabling Cambio and our customers to create ecosystems of e-Health application and services. About you

You are a hands-on, technical person with great leadership in architecture and a passion for all stages of software development. You are a responsible team player who enjoys solving complex problems solving as well as being passionate about programming. You have a great interest in technology, understand complex and abstract concepts and can explain them in a pedagogic manner.

Requirements 

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java/Kotlin
- Experience with RESTful API design
- Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, or other container platform solutions
- Good understanding of distributed service-oriented architectures, performance optimization techniques, and design patterns and principles
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Speaks and writes English fluently

It's a bonus if you

- Experience working on high-volume distributed systems. 
- Knowledge of healthcare standards and specifications (Open EHR, FHIR, SNOMED CT)
- Experience in Red Hat OpenShift
- Hands-on experience in Kotlin
- Experience in test-driven development 
- Experience in CI/CD
- Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
- Experience using formal modeling techniques such as UML and C4

Place of employment: Linköping or Stockholm

Scope: Full time
