We are looking for a Signalling Engineer ? Application Engineering to be based in Stockholm or Hässleholm

Rail Control Solutions (RCS) is a world leader in developing, engineering and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products and services.
RCS enables the safe and efficient operation of rail networks and trains.

Your Role:

Your main focus will be to perform detailed software design with requirements on safety, availability and maintainability. Using most proprietary tools, you will configure the software of interlocking systems in railway customer projects across the northen sales region; mainly Sweden and Norway.

Your Responsibilities and Challenges:
Software configuration and documentation of interlocking systems
Perform reviews of the software configuration
Follow applicable internal and external rules and regulations
Deliver in time with required quality
Participate in continuous refinement of the group?s work processes and ways of working
Support to installation, test and commissioning during construction of system
Participate in bid estimation work for new potential contracts

Your Experience and Qualifications :

-We believe you are educated to a University degree in Engineering or have gained equivalent knowledge through other relevant technical education or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
-Knowledge of Rail Regulations
-Knowledge of Unix / Linux, SQL databases and scripting
-Fluency in English and Swedish is required
-In order to be successful in this position you need be independent, well organized and structured. You also need to be driven with good communication and collaborative abilities. Since this position also includes cooperation with other stakeholders you need to be both social and have high degree of integrity.
