Telecom Operations Engineer

This is the job:

Working as a Telecom Operations Engineer for our real time rating platforms (online charging and/or policy control) your responsibilities include:

• Continuously work on identifying and implementing improvements

• System Administrator & standard implementations responsibility

• Test- and implementation of new minor SW releases

• Action on alarms escalated from NOC

• System maintenance and proactive operations

• Monitoring quality related statistics, logs, traffic development etc.

• Incident and Problem management

• Vendor trouble reports, Vendor management (SRM)

• Support rest of organization in investigation and fixing of e.g. revenue leakages and frauds

• Documentation, training TCS and NOC

• On Call Duty

Who you are:

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Higher level technical education within Telecom alternatively have gained similar knowledge by working or by other means.

• Experience in working in Unix/Linux environments

• It is meritorious if you have previous knowledge/experience in scripting and performing tests

The position is located in our headquarter in Kista, Stockholm. Tele2 as a company has decided on a hybrid way of working post corona which means that we offer the flexibility to work remotely regularly for a portion of the time.
