Software Engineer

Description: Our team is working with model based diagnostic development, implementing monitors for the thermal and climate system in Volvo electrical vehicles. The purpose of the diagnostic monitor is to pinpoint any malfunction or undesired behavior in the system. Correct diagnostic judgement will help the workshop in its repair and can be used as information to keep the system operating with minimum impact for the driver.

You will be involved in the development process from concept to industrialization, meaning designing, implement and verify functionality in embedded systems. Besides Simulink development a big part of the work is taken place in vehicles, including testing in rigs and on test facilities around the world to secure quality in all possible conditions.

We expect you to have a MSc or BSc in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronic etc.

You are an experienced Simulink developer with high analytical skills.

You have a European driver license and are fluent in English, spoken and written.

Knowledge in C/C++ and Python are meritorious.

Any experience within automotive industry, on board diagnostics or system development of control system is meritorious. You are flexible, have excellent communication and documentation skills. You have a positive attitude and are a supportive person to your colleagues and also team oriented.
