We are now looking for Java Developer for Sinch’s Operator Division.

Sinch Operator creates software solutions for mobile operator network infrastructure and services, providing efficient and scalable solutions for messaging, charging & policy control, revenue assurance and fraud prevention. These solutions form the foundation for many of Sinch’s offerings but are also offered stand alone and used by many of the major mobile operators around the world.

The essence of the role

As a Java Developer you will be part of an experienced team and work closely with product, operations and other business experts to develop products to the Mobile Operator market. Our solution support our customers need of mission critical services with large transactional volumes. Development is done an environment of Java, Javascript and open source frameworks.

Who are you?

We are looking for a Java Developer who knows how to create efficient solutions within an environment with high volumes of transactions. Experience from the telecommunications and mobile messaging industry is good to have but knowledge of any transaction rich platforms will take you far. You are well versed in agile development methods and believe quality is not a job but a philosophy that everyone in an engineering organization needs to embrace.

To be a good contributor, we see that you have:

• At least 3-5+ years of experience as a Java Developer
• Developer background with focus on and very good skills in Java and SQL-databases
• Knowledge of different software methodologies and an understanding for using them in a way to match the business needs
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration, maybe with a telecommunications orientation

Soft skills are of course important too, therefore we want you to be:

Structured - You will handle at lot of requirements that you need to organize

Result oriented - Must be driven according to the stakeholders order

Good at establishing relationships - You need to be able to create good relationships with stakeholders

Solution oriented - Be adaptable to find solutions towards stakeholders
