Linux Developer

CME Solutions AB is looking for a Linux Developer who will be responsible for developing firmware for new products and developing new features for existing products.

The responsibilities of the Linux Developer include:

• Meeting with key stakeholders to gather information about requirements.
• Predominately creating designs and designing and writing code.
• Collaborating with other engineers, delivery lead and designers.

Requirements

• Strong C++ programming but would consider C depending on other experience.
• Linux Application development experience.
• Flexible attitude, Easy-going nature, and a willingness to learn.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Desirable:

• git version control.
• Bash scripting.
• Experience with Qt or similar graphical application framework.
• Experience performing application development with any of the following languages: Rust, Go, Python.
• Experience performing Unit testing.
• Experience with networking.
• Experience with complex inter-process communication.
• Experience managing continuous integration, e.g., Jenkins.
• Experience with yocto.
