About Elastisys

Elastisys provides cloud native solutions and managed services that empower our customers to run their applications and services in a scalable, resilient way in public or on-prem clouds. We are active Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) members, Sweden’s first Kubernetes Certified Service Provider (KCSP) and open-source contributors.

We are currently 35 full-time employees from 11 nations. We are marathon runners, vegans, devoted fathers and mothers, board and video game enthusiasts, coffee drinkers, pilots, black-belt wearers, dog walkers and quiet evening likers. Our 30 engineers cover the entire experience spectrum from juniors, to senior engineers with PhD degrees in cloud computing.

What we do

We develop and maintain our own open source Kubernetes distribution, Elastisys Compliant Kubernetes, that allows companies to be agile even in highly regulated environments, such as EdTech, FinTech and MedTech. Elastisys Compliant Kubernetes is also available as a Managed Service, where we operate the platform on selected cloud providers. In addition, we offer additional managed services such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.

We regularly work across most of the cloud native ecosystem and with projects and tools like:

• Automation tools such as Kubespray, Ansible, Helm and Terraform
• Security and compliance tools such as Falco, Harbor and OPA
• Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Opensearch
• CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD
• Programming, scripting, and templating languages such as go, bash, mustache, and yaml

Our managed service offering is growing and we are now looking for talented engineers to join our DevOps team.

Who we are looking for

As DevOps engineer you will work together with the team in developing Compliant Kubernetes, and operating it as a managed service, including being part of the on-call rotation. We work closely with the open source ecosystem, preferring to contribute to best of breed Cloud Native projects, rather than inventing our own solutions, or integrating with closed source products. With Elastisys being a lean and agile company that works closely with its customers, you also have the opportunity to get rapid product feedback through technical account management and support.

MUST HAVEs:

• Experience or willingness to learn cloud native technologies
• Strong communication skills in English (writing and speaking)
• Solid programming skills and strong systems understanding
• Willingness to work in a team, caring about customers and other team members.

NICE TO HAVEs:

• System administrator experience (*nix)
• Experience with customer support or technical account management
• Experience from contributing to open source projects
• Experience with relational databases, message queues, and distributed caches
• Experience with OpenStack and VMWare
