Backend Developer to Tietoevry Care

We are looking for a software developer who wants to work within Tietoevry Laboratory, here you will contribute to simplifying everyday life for citizens, professionals and customers. Tietoevry Care is modernizing the Nordic health and social care sector with modular, open, and interoperable software. We put citizens and patients at the center, simplifying everyday life for all, and providing the tools required to transition towards increased self-and preventive care and lower cost-of-care settings. Within the division Laboratory we develop solutions that help doctors take quick and reliable decisions on future care based on fast, integrated quality laboratory results.

A day in the life of a Backend Developer:

As a Developer in one of our Laboratory team, you will contribute to transforming the healthcare and welfare sector by creating digital solutions for screening cervical cancer. You will be a part of a smaller team that works closely together with a high level of self-government. The team constellation is cross-functional and consists of experts from different areas. The team works agile and sprint-oriented according to scrum with daily stand-ups.

You are a curious person who wants to be at the forefront of technology with a strong focus on user-experience. You are focused and committed with a positive attitude who enjoys having contact with customers/users. With our agile end-to-end development process, you will continue to both learn from, and coach your colleagues, so communication is important for us. Of course, you also want to work in a tight team where everyone helps each other and have fun at work.

To appreciate this role, we think that you:

- Have experience as a Backend Software Developer
- Have at least one year of experience of using Java
- Are proficient in English

We consider it a plus if you:

- Have knowledge/experience of the healthcare and welfare domain
- Have experience of .NET Core and Angular
- Have experience of container environments such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Have an understanding of microservices
- Have an interest in data modeling
