Interning at Nasdaq

The Nasdaq Futures Internship Program provides successful candidates with an outstanding opportunity to experience a relevant and immersive 10 week internship. As participants in the Nasdaq Futures Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will work on a defined project and partner with a mentor, network with senior colleagues and present your project at the end of the program. You will also participate in learning development opportunities and meet with senior leaders. This Nasdaq Internship runs for 10 weeks commencing from June to August 2022.

The Team

We are a small team of 5 Product Managers responsible for the Marketplace Service Platform (MSP) product line, which also includes Digital Assets. We provide services for marketplaces to transparently and efficiently trade assets on a SaaS platform. We have full P&L responsibility for the MSP Product Line and apply Agile methodologies together with Sales and Product Development teams.

Your Role

You will join the Product Management team within the Marketplace Services Platform (MSP) Product Line. Current product offering includes Trading and Surveillance services, deployed to our Customers through a SaaS business model and on Cloud.

As a Product Management Intern, the day-to-day responsibilities are quite broad and stretch across different domains. You will have the opportunity to get exposed, work together and learn from multiple and heterogeneous teams, such asMarketing, Pre-Sales, UX and Engineering team. You will assist the MSP product mangers to:

Identify, describe, and solve problems that have a real impact on MSP stakeholders (e.g., Customers, Internal Users, Partners)

To collect data, execute research and analysis and eventually present business recommendation on how to improve Product features, Product offering and processes

Who we are looking for:

Passionate individual looking to start their career in finance and technology

Completing a Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business and Economics or related field with an anticipated graduation date after December 2022 until summer of 2023

Genuine interest or experience in finance, project management and software development

Ability to work with ambiguity

Ability to conduct Market Research and Analysis independently and with high quality

Good understanding of Financial Services, Cloud and SaaS business models

Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills

Curious and not afraid to ask questions, to come with critical thinking, to own and drive initiative across a matrix organization

Sample Projects:

Contribute to Market Research and Analysis for the Market segments targeted by our product offering

Help to refine the requirements needed to deploy the Marketplace Services Platform Portal and Sandbox

Track progress on initiatives related to the SaaS transformation and SaaS Maturity of Services included in the Marketplace Services Platform
