We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with experience and interest to work with scaling successful experiments and helping on building common platform parts in order to bring value to Aftonbladet and further media houses within Schibsted

WHO YOU ARE

You have at least five years of experience as a Software Engineer and are confident with both frontend and backend development using Javascript or Typescript.

You have a positive, team-oriented behavior and you enjoy collaboration.

You love to solve complex development problems and produce quality code.

Using your experience, you are always looking for ways to collaborate, share your knowledge, and give your team that competitive edge.

You understand the challenges when working with a top-class media website with millions of users.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH
- Continuous design and development of new features to push Aftonbladet’s products to the next level.
- Addressing problems, defining tech solutions and collaborating with other teams inside and outside of Aftonbladet.
- Collaborate with others to identify, plan, develop, and implement systems that will support the future vision of our company. This includes actively networking with people and sharing knowledge; both within Aftonbladet and across Schibsted.
- Ongoing assessments of capabilities, performance and costs of our technical infrastructure.
- Define and measure success metrics, research new solutions and technologies and recommend changes based on analysis of their impact to all users requirements
