Job Description
Required:
- Evidence of working with requirement-driven development
- Extensive demonstrable experience working with Test Automation (Python, Robot Framework)
- Knowledge of the testing theory, HIL/MIL/SIL testing methodologies and tools
- English both spoken and written; Good communication skills
- Working experience with CI automation
- Some experience in developing applications using C/C++
Good to have:
- Experience of test plan, test strategy, test cases and scripts development, and writing test documentation as well
- Experience of networking protocols and tools
- Working experience with Vector toolchain (primarily Canoe and vTestStudio)
- CAPL experience
- Functional safety (ISO26262)
To be successful in this job we also believe that you have experience from doing in-depth troubleshooting on both the product and the test framework. You shall also enjoy supporting and educating others in using, updating and troubleshooting our tests. You need to have a basic understanding of requirement handling and an interest to work with, and learn how to, prove that our product meet safety standards and reliability requirements.
Job Responsibilities
As a SW test engineer, we expect that you will be able to create fully automated test systems to verify requirements, to validate the stability of the system and the design. Part of your responsibilities will include development of automated tests using Python, participation in requirement reviews, write "dummy apps" in C/C++ and connect hardware in on premises HW lab
Together with your Team you will also be contributing to the setup of development- and test rigs, automation of system CI tests, maintaining and improving the CI pipeline, as well as ensureing full requirement-test coverage and requirement-test traceability.
How we test will be a key enabler for increasing the speed and quality of the software deliveries in the ever more complex software environment of a modern car so you will also work close to our test architect to identify ideas for improvement of our test flow.
