We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of Senior & Junior Engineers with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.

We aim to hire multiple software engineers for the Digital department. This includes both senior and junior engineers, full stack, front end and back end.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer, you will be a creator, transforming the company’s digital vision into working solutions through the development of digital products, platforms, and services using cutting-edge technology.

The organisation's technology stack is modern and free of legacy constraints, primarily based on Node.js, Typescript, React.js, GraphQL, .NET Core, and C#. Applications run in AWS on a serverless architecture using lambda functions and services such as DynamoDB.

While experience with these tools and technologies is beneficial, much of what determines success at the organisation is determined by mindset and approach.

You could have a background in Java engineering, for example, and still be a good fit for us. Above all, we value an openness to new technologies, as well as a strong approach to problem solving and solution development.

The candidate would be expected to create applications, frequently in collaboration with UX/UI designers, to optimise trade-offs between technical functionality and end-user experience.

Create the business logic and back-end systems for Digital solutions.

Check that the code adheres to the most recent coding practices and industry standards.

Create unit and integration tests, as well as automation tools for day-to-day tasks.

To avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions, challenge ideas and opinions.

Maintain close contact with the Competence Group Leads and the Architecture & Standards team to ensure that the most recent guidelines and safeguards are followed when developing digital solutions.

Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:

To be a good fit for this role, the applicant should be a full-stack, front-end or back-end developer who is already familiar with or eager to learn Node.js, React.js, Typescript, .NET core, or C#.

Solid experience developing cloud-based applications Experience working with event-driven microservices

Capable of creating effective unit and integration tests.

Experience as a Developer on a cross-functional agile team would be advantageous.

Solid problem-solving abilities, as well as the ability to process and analyse information quickly.

A fantastic communicator who can explain complex technical concepts and influence organisational decisions.

A team player and collaborator with an entrepreneurial mindset.
