Senior Python Developer

Vinter is seeking an exceptional individual who will be joining the Vinter team to continue building our index calculation and data distribution system, serving the needs of the ETF industry and the crypto community. Your responsibilities will include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and coaching junior developers. If you’re a seasoned developer with a love for back-end technologies, we’d like to meet you.

The job

You will contribute to the development of a real-time data distribution system. The most important KPIs are correct index values, calculation speed, and reliability. You will design, develop, and implement a data infrastructure and pipelines that collect, connect, centralize, and curate data from various internal and external data sources. You will continuously be expanding our platform’s observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing.

Responsibilities

- Help design and implement functional requirements
- Build efficient back-end features in Python
- Integrate front-end components into applications
- Manage testing and bug fixes
- Prepare technical documentation
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
- Coach junior team members
- Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements

Requirements

- Solid experience as Python Developer
- Experience with Python frameworks like Django and FastAPI
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), WebSocket and REST API
- Understanding of databases and SQL
- Attention to detail
- Leadership skills
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
