QA Lead

The role and responsibilities


You will be working work within a highly skilled and experienced product engineering unit and belong to a product organization with multiple scrum teams consisting of Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and QA Engineers. You will work across all scrum teams and also be responsible for the system-wide E2E regression testing. Your responsibilities will be related to QA & test in both sprints and releases and include (but not limited to)


Harmonize test strategy and test tooling/frameworks between the different Product teams

Secure enough time is estimated for test activities in sprint and release planning.

Identify and follow up on quality metrics.

Work with process improvement initiatives.

Release planning and coordination across the teams.

Plan and coordinate integration testing between other products and business units.

Design, plan and implement changes to our existing systems, as well as implement new solutions.

Coach and mentor QA engineers.

Report status on testing and QA.

Participate in hands-on QA and test activities when needed.


We expect you to have


Shown experience in Quality Assurance & automated testing.

Extensive experience in Agile software engineering.

Experience in leading QA/testing in an agile organization.

Knowledge of scripting and programming in Java, Perl, Python, Shell, and similar languages.

Building automated functional test suites on API level, for protocols and APIs such as FIX or REST.


We are looking for a new team member with a Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience. We are an international team and English is the company language. You should be proficient in verbal and written communication in English. To thrive in this role you should enjoy working in a constantly evolving work environment and flexible to changes in priorities and be comfortable communicating new directions.

It would be nice if you have experience with


Financial systems, i.e. financial trading/clearing/settlement systems

A high-volume transaction and/or sub-millisecond latency systems

Systems with high-quality demands

Integrating tests with a CI/CD pipeline

Working as a scrum master

Non-functional tests such as failover tests and performance tests


Any specialist certifications in QA methodology are also meriting.
