Mid-level Design Researcher in Stockholm

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Mid-level Design Researcher with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a mid-level Design Researcher, you will assist in the collection and synthesis of knowledge at the appropriate time during the Design process, as well as in its translation into actionable insights. You will actively participate in and contribute to design projects, encouraging creativity and stimulating new ideas through effective research, analytical, and communication skills.

The candidate is expected to contribute to research projects.

Develop and implement relevant research approaches and methodologies;

Rely on existing and new research methodologies and content;

Conduct desk research and expert interviews on socio-cultural trends, design trends, and contextual behavioural trends.

Analyze and synthesize using creative design thinking tools.

Create insights from research findings to support the synthesis and deliverables.

Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:

The candidate must have 3+ years of relevant work experience.

A Bachelor's degree or higher level in appropriate field (e.g., social science, design).

Passion for research and ideation.

Experience with Design Thinking / human-centered design approach.

Use of qualitative research methods.

Experience with innovation, lean, and agile approaches is a plus

Knowledge of design software and technologies is advantageous (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

The applicant must have an agile and lean approach to research

Strong analytical and sense-making skills

Ability to communicate and transfer ideas and insights while integrating knowledge.

Language Requirements: Mastery of the English language in both speech and writing is required. Proficiency in other Languages is also preferred.
