CellaVision develops digital imaging solutions that help hospitals and laboratories save time and improve quality. In support of this the Software team develops connectivity and data storage that let hospitals work together in collaborative networks and keep a detailed history of each patient. We help lab personnel by designing intuitive user interfaces, and we ensure the lab result reaches its destination by integrating with the hospital’s IT systems.

We use an agile approach where the team jointly takes responsibility for taking all new functionality through implementation, code review and testing. At CellaVision, we have a decentralized organization, with short decision paths and a focus on collaboration.

Key tasks as a Software Engineer in the Software team

- Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications for lab personnel, using C# and WPF
- Develop and maintain backend services for coordinating access to databases and connecting labs, using C# and SQL
- Participate in the design of distributed systems using a combination of desktop applications, web applications, and backend services, that will be deployed and run on the customers own data centers
- Review designs, reports, and source code contributions from colleagues

To be successful in the role you need to have

- A passion for developing user interfaces
- Good programming skills, preferably in C#
- Ability to understand architecture and design of large software systems
- M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.

It’s an advantage if you have

- Experience with product development
- Experience or understanding of working in a regulated environment
