Afterpay is our buy-now-pay-later service available in nine European markets where we are now looking for Frontend Developers to join our Afterpay Development Teams!

Delivering a reliable and wonderful shopping experience, both for retailers and end customers, makes us proud but not satisfied. Our ambition is higher and now we have a great opportunity for Frontend Developers to join our growing teams based in Stockholm. To give you a quick insight, our technical department has over 100 developers structured in 15 domain teams. Frontend Developers at Arvato work closely with product experts, designers and other roles as needed, so that each team can take full responsibility for their specific products. The team is given the freedom to make their own decisions regarding product, technology and process. For you as a Frontend Developer, we offer the time required to focus on your craft, and plenty of room to shape what we do going forward. Our ambition is to give you the best possible start with us with the opportunity to grow yourself. Your immediate managers are technically strong, have very practical experience and take the time to set up a development plan that suits you. In the position as a Frontend Developer, you will be part of our buy-now-pay-later team where we are now available in nine European markets. As a Frontend Developer, you will work on performance improvements of the current application, implement new features and payment methods and improve application quality. A strategic feature of the application is to go from web hosting to the Azure cloud, where you can contribute and customize applications for cloud formation, migration and future adaptations. At Arvato, you will have a flexible work day with the opportunity to work remotely.
In summary, you will work in an exciting role and touch on areas such as:
- Design, develop and maintain web applications together with your team
- Create well-functioning and reusable UI components.
- Push forward small and large improvements based on your specialist knowledge in web technologies
Qualifications
To fit into the role, you must have a few years of work experience from a similar position. We also see that you as a person is team-oriented and have very good collaboration and communication skills. You have a great drive and you are always eager to learn and develop yourself in the field. We are now looking for both junior and senior Frontend Developers and since we are global, your language skills in English are an important factor as you will be communicating with many different stakeholders throughout the organisation. Our offices are located on Torsgatan, Stockholm.

Requirements:
- Proficient in the basic building blocks HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- Experience in modern frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular or Standard Web Components.
- Knowledgeable in responsive design.
- Knowledgeable in web standards and browser functions.
