Product Owner

Our most important software, called Tobii Pro Lab is used by universities, researchers and commercial actors around the globe is constantly developed and enhanced. The product is used to design, conduct, and analyze experiments centered around eye tracking. Our customers bet their academic career or next marketing campaign on insights gained from our software, so we need to offer a high-quality product handling a high volume of data with microsecond timing resolution and precision.

We are glad that we are now able to strengthen our team with a Product Owner who can contribute to the continued success of our product evolution. You will be working side by side with other researchers, Product Owners, Engineers, QAs, Developers. Together you will collaborate, learn, improve, and most of all innovate solutions that help our customers to reach their goals.

As a Product Owner in Tobii Pro Lab, you are a key member of the Scientific program and the Engineering department. You will listen to customer problems and try to find clusters that can be addressed by a computer vision solution. It is your responsibility to drive the prototyping work of the solution and acquire the necessary ground truth data. You will also support the developers who are implementing the eventual solution into production code, and the writers of the final publication of the validation report.

• Understand the customer domain and their problems
• Prototype computer vision solutions to customer problems
• Identify low-hanging fruit where a computer vision approach has a high chance of success
• Help acquire ground truth data sets
• Recommend best approaches to further implement in production software

We are looking for someone with:

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in relevant field
• Broad experience of solving real-world computer vision problems
• Good Python skills for prototyping solutions
• Good communication and coaching skills

If you on top of this have knowledge in C++ and/or C# that is a big plus. If you, on top of this, have experience with machine learning methods and test-driven development – that is an even bigger plus!
