Your experience as a Senior Mobile Developer in our ConX Software Mobile (Android/iOS) SDK Team would be invaluable to us as we develop software for the companion apps for our electric vehicles.

What you’ll do

ConX (Connected eXperience) Software Platform, a part of the Polestar Software and Electronics Department, is a team with a mission to deliver continuous improvements to our customers’ companion apps. The team consists of mobile and SDK developers, dev-ops, and end-to-end testers. You will work together with your team, infotainment engineers, cloud engineers, and with Polestar's partner companies to bring about Connected-Car, Charging, and Performance Solution companion applications.

Desired Skills:

- Android Development - Kotlin, C++, AIDL, Java, Gradle
- Android App Lifecycle, Android Background Services, Android Studio, ADB, etc.

- iOS Development - Swift, C++, Objective-C
- iOS App Lifecycle, iOS Background Services, Xcode, etc.
- Command Line Tools etc.

- General - Gerrit, Git, etc.
- Scripting languages (like python or javascript)
- Unit/UI testing
- Protocols such as BLE, NFC, UWB
- Protocol layers such as protobuf, CCM
- Security and coding best practices
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Agile methologies, Automation etc.

Who you are:

- Relevant technical education and background
- Take ownership for the team’s deliveries
- Take ownership for issues that may span multiple systems including front-end, backend, and automotive
- Can give and receive constructive code reviews
- Have an open mind about different Agile Processes and can help the team adapt its ways of working
- You enjoy learning new skills, languages, and toolsets
- Communicative and collaborative
- Have strong English skills (Swedish is a bonus)

You’re not afraid to try new approaches and out of the box methods. You have a holistic view, including vision, business, and customers. You are a fast learner and are not afraid of addressing tough challenges.
