UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.

The Consultant role

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.

Education/training

Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:

- Relevant experience from software development in a Linux Android based embedded system

- Proven experience working with bootloaders, device tree configurations, clock tree configurations, Linux drivers, boot optimizations in Linux and android

- Excellent skills in C & C++ and for full stack development

- Experience with modern development methods such as Scrum, Continuous integration using tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins

- Thorough knowledge of object-oriented development and design.

Nice to have

- Previous experience working with HAB and dmcrypt, SE Linux

- Communication skills in German

About the position

-Work as a senior software developer for embedded Android / Linux systems in Lund.

Further, in this position you are expected to:

- Be able to do HW board bring-up of Android SW stack from scratch and optimize boot-up time

- Debug and develop software in C / C++ for Android Linux based embedded systems.

- Participate in every stage of the software development from design and brainstorming through feature implementation.

- Communicate with other development teams and when needed also customers.
